A new course approved by the Automotive Management Institute (AMI), and taught by Steve Feltovich, manager of Business Consulting Services, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp., will teach shop owners, production managers and fixed operations managers how to analyze all aspects of the collision repair business while identifying opportunities to make it run more efficiently and more profitably.

The full-day, hands-on workshop, “Improving Workshop Efficiency,” will cover topics such as “Origins of Lean Production,” “Running the Workshop More Effectively and Efficiently,” “Raising the Output Quality While Lowering Operating Costs,” “Capturing More Market Share Through Continuous Improvement,” “Maximizing Production and Profit Opportunities,” and “Developing Systems and Processes to Assure Greater Customer Loyalty.”
