International Paint LLC, a division of Akzo Nobel, has hired Martin Goodman to serve as senior account executive over protective coatings sales in South Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas. A coatings-industry veteran of more than 25 years, Goodman previously worked in sales for two years at Sumter Coatings. Prior to that, he worked in various sales positions at Carboline, Sherwin Williams and Southern Coatings for a cumulative 23 years. Goodman earned a bachelor’s of arts degree from the University of South Alabama and is an active member of the Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC).

In his new role at International Paint, Goodman will help direct the company’s long-term efforts for developing brand awareness and growth of International’s high-performance protective coatings sales in the industrial and commercial building markets throughout that region.
