R-M Refinish Coatings, a division of BASF, is preparing to wrap up entries for its sixth international “Best Painter Contest.” First-round winners will participate in the national final in June 2007 at one of the UK’s leading refinish training facilities. The national winner will compete with some of the best European painters in the international final September 26-27, 2007, at the Refinish Competence Centre in Clermont, France. The winner will enjoy a week-long dream vacation for two.

Qualifying competitors must be a student at a training center or a novice painter, must be under 25 years of age, and must work with the R-M brand. The deadline for the pre-selection tests is March 31.
